It’s astonishing how our brains, residing within us, sometimes conspire to limit our potential. Hi, it’s Sandra De Freitas from Membership Launches Community with yet another intriguing episode, unpacking the whirlwind of emotions that come with big goals.
I embarked on a significant venture, kicking off the “100 Members Experiment” this week. Mixed feelings of fear and excitement swirled. What if I don’t reach 100 members? Then, from nowhere, another idea popped up, teasing my focus and energy. I was excited, yet nervous. My mind turned into a roller coaster, holding onto fear, while urging me to back out, keeping me in familiarity’s embrace. Thanks to my colleague Anjanette’s insights, I got reminded of life’s comfort zones and the exhilaration of stepping beyond them.
I’m planning a webinar in December—the first in over two years! The thought is nerve-wracking, yet exhilarating. On a routine walk, I mused about launching a webinar when my son’s school break looms. ‘What business do I have launching now?’ crept into my thoughts, momentarily spiraling intent into doubt. Yet, accountability and teaching others fueled my commitment. So, here I am, working on a simple, straightforward plan—a no-frills, powerful approach to engage and invite.
On December 19th, the stage is set to go live at 1 PM. Before then, a promotion week awaits.
